Da Vinci at War
In the DaVinci at War series Robert Hooker has tried to imagine a major world conflagration using machines of war first imagined by Leonardo DaVinci. He has produced a vast set of notebooks seeking to capture the realistic imaginative style of DaVinci, which more than anyone since has merged art and science. In an age dominated by the machines DaVinci first imagined Robert is trying to rediscover the meaning of creativity and to explore the negative consequences of our age of machines.
He now has a collection of his Da Vinci At War series in The Da Vinci Muesums across Italy. For more information or if you would like to order a piece from this collection please contact the artist directly: rhooker1236@hotmail.com
